Nikolai Fasting
Nikolai is the founder, co-owner and CEO of Active Loop Television and has been working with TV and mobile interaction since 1998. From 2002 Mr. Fasting was CEO of Respons.tv and later Chief Business Developer in Mobile Media Interactive. He was responsible for launching a mobile marketing division and an interactive television division in these companies. Mr. Fasting was involved in running more than 800 mobile marketing campaigns and launching 10 mobile driven interactive TV channels in Norway, Malaysia, China, Canada and the UK, until 2006, when Mr. Fasting was leading a management buy-out of the interactive television division of Mobile Media Interactive, starting up Active Loop Television.

Berge Myrene
Berge Myrene is Vice President of Technology in Active Loop Television. He joined the company in 2006 and is in charge of technical development and support. Prior to joining the company he has been employed in NRK, the national Norwegian broadcaster, as a technical coordinator of on-air graphics. This means coordinating and setting up/ configuring units for virtual studio, game shows, news and sports. Berge has extensive knowledge in the Vizrt’s suite of broadcast graphics products and never.no’s interactive TV products.

Paul Gibbs
Paul is currently Program Director of BBC World. Paul joined Active Loop Television in 2007 and has been running the UK operation. Paul has worked on BBC Radio 4′s Today programme, BBCTV’s Breakfast, 6 O’Clock News, Newsnight, The Money Programme, Panorama and Watchdog. In 1988, he was key to the launch of Europe’s first, bilingual business channel, the European Business Channel. His executive career continued back at the BBC with the launch of Britain’s first daily business show, Business Breakfast, followed by the ground-breaking Working Lunch where he discovered Adrian Chiles, then on work experience. He also developed and launched a host of business shows across the world for BBC Worldwide including World Business Report and India Business Report. Perhaps his highest achievement was the launch of the Al Jazeera English Channel where he was the founding Director of Programmes responsible for the creation of the channel’s complete slate of programmes across many genres.

Michael Carter
Michael Carter is the President and CEO of MyThum Interactive, a North American leader in interactive mobile media. Since 2002, Michael and his team have launched hundreds of initiatives, many the first of their kind in North America. MyThum has been engaged by many of Canada’s leading brands such as Molson, Nike, Mitsubishi, Ford and Shoppers Drug Mart to develop and deploy various mobile marketing solutions. MyThum powers the direct-to-consumer mobile content storefronts for Warner Music Canada, Universal Music Canada, Sony BMG and EMI, and interactive television solutions for broadcasters such as CTV, CanWest Global, Astral Media, the CBC and Rogers Sportsnet. Christian Böhmer
Christian is consulting Active Loop Television since 2007in strategic and distribution topics. Since 1996 he is active in the media business. He was CEO of WRTV (Weather and Travel Channel) in all German speaking countries. After that he becomes for several years the CEO of all City TV stations (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich) of the KirchGroup. He is very well connected in the German media field due to his further activities. Along with this Christian delivers a significant experience in marketing, sales and general business. Actually with his record of entrepreneurship he is consulting globally media companies in the TV, internet and gaming sector.

Finn H. Andreassen
Finn, has worked for Active Loop Television on special projects. He is former Director of Program/Executive Vice President of TV2 Norway (10 years), and has journalistic and TV-producer background from Norwegian Broadcasting Cooperation (13 years). The last five years he has worked as a consultant dedicated to interactive solutions (web and mobile) and content development. He is at the time being responsible for establishing an “open TV channel” in Norway, financed by the Department of Culture. His background as manager and content developer has been used by clients for strategic and business planning.

Hilary Anderson
Hilary joined Active Loop Television in 2007 as Operations Director (UK). During this time he was responsible or the EMAP Account, its range of channels and its variety of products. Additionally Hilary played a key business development role for other Active Loop clients in the UK. For the past 8 years Hilary has been involved in monetising television via interactive platforms covering mobile, internet and mobile internet. This content has been across a variety of BSkyB channels, Zee TV (India), CanalUno (Ecuador), cTb (Ukraine), TV3 (Malaysia) and TVibe (China). Genres covered include gaming, gambling, chat, voting and general entertainment programming. Hilary has a deep understanding of the underlying technologies, business processes, commercial environments, billing mechanisms and regulatory frameworks that are required to support the world of new media content.
